It’s here! My annual symbol that Halloween did indeed happen this year has arrived. Jimmy Kimmel’s “I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” compilation is a staple in my post-halloween lifestyle transition. You put away the jack-o-lanterns and you watch kids freak out about their candy. I feel a bit like a terrible person when I’m cracking up over the extreme pain of a child but their fits when their parents have eaten all of their Halloween candy that they worked so hard for are simply epic. It will be my true defining moment as a parent in the future when I play this joke on my child (and I WILL be playing this joke on them) and see which category they fall into. I dearly hope that they are the ones who sweetly say “it’s okay mamma”. Those ones are the heartbreakers. Enjoy!!
