From the salty, richness of a freshly cooked oyster that had been harvested that morning to the magnificent beauty that is the PNW, this memorial day weekend was a great one – full of adventures and activity. My brother was home for the weekend (a rarity due to his schedule as a cadet at the Air Force Academy) so we took full advantage of his presence and the sun-drenched weekend. We spent time hovering around the BBQ as dad cooked up oysters, clams, and salmon. We hiked around Lena Lake and searched for a spot to fly fish. We visited the farmers market and spent time on the sound. But most importantly we spent time together as a family and there’s truly nothing better than that. Here are a few photos and a quick video of our hike, if you’d like to see.
Best weekend ever with the BEST family ever!! Love you all so so so much!!
