Happy Friday!  This week was simultaneously fast and slow but I’m looking forward to a weekend full of the arts – local high school musical tonight, PNB ballet and Soulcycle in Bellevue tomorrow.  I can’t wait!  Have a great one and thank you for reading.

Gist:  Have you heard of hygge?  Who knew that this thing I already love to do as I bunker down in my cozy den full of candles, fuzzy blankets, and leggings-every-single-day has an official name!  Now that I know it’s an official thing, I’m doubling down on my commitment to all things hygge.  

 

Image:  Our pocket of the PNW was hit by a significant amount of snow last weekend and when walking across the street for Sunday dinner, I was forced to stop and stare at the most mesmerizing sunset.  With the street muffled by the snow, it was a beautiful, peaceful moment.
