T.G.I.F ~ 4/14

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Hope it’s been a good week for everyone. Despite my claims on Monday’s post, the acquisition deal with my current company fell through so I was lucky enough to accept a new job at Mesosphere! I’ll still be working remotely but will be training at their headquarters in San Francisco next week. I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running and am so glad Cameron could take the time off and come with me! Here’s to some excellent dinners around the bay area this week. I hope you have a fantastic weekend, everyone, and I’ll see you back here on Monday!

Thought: I’ve loved everything about my job the past two years. The work, the life balance, but most importantly the incredible people. Whip smart, easy going, hard working, and kind I’ve never had a team quite as magical or coworkers I liked quite as much. That makes this ending really difficult so I’m trying to keep this quote at the forefront of my mind this week.

Gist: As I’m on my fifth flight to California in a matter of weeks, I’ve been spending a lot of time in airports so perhaps I found this article even more relevant. The idea of a circular airport runway was one I’ve never heard of but it makes sense once I think about it!

Image: My herb and vegetable plant haul of last weekend. My love of fresh herbs is well documented on this blog and I’m jazzed to have the pots planted – ready for spring and summer!

Find: I’ve had my eye on this sweater for a while so when it finally went on sale I didn’t hesitate. It came in this week and it’s even more beautiful in person – ideal for the PNW spring weather but easy to transition into summer. If you order by tonight you can stack the extra 20% that Shopbop is offering right now!
