Happy Mother’s Day Weekend, everyone! My mamma is in Colorado this weekend with my brother so I’ll have to wait until Sunday evening to give her a big hug but in the meantime we’ll be heading down to Portland on Saturday evening for a comedy show that I’m pretty excited about because I’m pretty sure Sampson won’t be planning anything for his mother this weekend 😉. Have a great weekend and wish the best day ever to all the mothers, mothers-to-be, and mothers-at-heart out there and if you are looking for a last-minute gift check out the Mother’s Day Gift Guide I put together! Moms, you are the glue that holds our world together.
Thought: Yikes. Guilty. The author of this article must have watched me “clean” our house last time guests announced they were coming over because clearing off the counters into a box or drawer is my MO. Luckily, the article presents a helpful tip: next time you clean up the house quickly, use a bin that you will be forced to unload in the near future, something like a laundry bin. That way, you’ll be forced to deal with all the items rather than letting them stack up. Genius and just small enough that I might actually stick to it!
Gist: I’ve talked before how my mom is truly my role model, best friend, and one of the most extraordinary people I know – kind, giving, smart, and wise. I’m lucky to know her, let alone have her as my mamma, and our bond is strong. That’s why I thought this collection of 25 famous women on their mothers was especially beautiful.

Find: Have you had a Perfect Bar yet? They’ve been my go-to for a few months now as they are made from all natural, organic ingredients and are delicious! My favorite is the Peanut Butter but I’ve been waiting to get the new Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter and Sea Salt one! Locally, I can find them at Fred Meyer and Costco in the refrigerator, health food section.
