Welcome to the weekend!  It’s been a long week and I’m really looking forward to getting the house back in order, catching up on my favorite blogs, and hanging with the people I love.  Cheers!

Thought:  It’s often the unique perspectives that make you stop and think the most…

Gist:  A fascinating article on how white noises are generated and how the sound that calms us the most can be directly correlated to where we grew up.

Image(s):  A couple weeks ago we made our way out to the lovely stretch of Puget Sound that’s owned by the neighborhood Cameron grew up in to walk some major hills and let Sampson run around.  Despite the fact he still adamantly refused to get in the water in any manner he did manage to wear himself out.  He was clearly tired but didn’t want to fall asleep on the way home, lest he miss something exciting!

Find:  Pomegranates are back in season!  If you know me, you know I’m addicted.  My favorite way to gobble them up is just with a spoon but they are also great mixed into yogurt, frozen and then added to oatmeal, or sprinkled on top of salads.  Yummm!

Soul-food Saturday:  Organize one aspect of your life – be it your refrigerator, makeup drawer, desk, or paperwork.  Having that one bit of calm will make you feel so much more ready to tackle the week come Monday!
