Happy Tuesday!  I’ve been working on some fun posts for later this week from our trip to LA last month including a food guide that has me already dreaming about going back.  In the meantime, here are three fun things from around the web this week.  Enjoy!

 

I absolutely loved this special section in the NYT on Sunday.  Covering pressing issues such as how to win an argument with your parents and the recipe for homemade slime, I wish there had been something like this when I was a kiddo.  How cute that kids can read their paper on Sunday morning just like Mom and Dad.

I’m not one for producing my own Instastories but I do thoroughly enjoy the content others produce.  This guide of tips, tricks, and hacks for Instastories was fantastic – full of things I would never have thought of!  It’s inspiring me to create more of my own stories too.  

 

It’s a bit of a legendary story how I fell in love with a photo of a cathedral ceiling, brick covered house years ago and when we bought our house for the location it just so happened to be the exact layout of my dream photo (you can see the results of the remodel here).  Manifesting dreams!  That instant love-at-first-sight happened to me again with this Texas home tour and I’m saving this for our next house.  I love everything about it:  the beams on the ceilings, rounded archways, and peek-a-boo second-floor bonus room.  Ahh!  It’s perfect!
