Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope everyone has the opportunity to spend the day with someone they love because if there’s one thing I’m certain of it’s that we can always use more love in the world. Here are three things that have made me smile this week.
My love of stand-up has previously been documented on the blog, but there’s very little opportunity for live comedy in the greater Olympia area. Until now! Little General Food Shop (downtown Olympia, on Capital Blvd) is patterning with Olympia Friends United Comedy for a live stand-up show every third Thursday. I’ve not yet been to one so I can’t speak the quality but if you are in Olympia come down this Thursday! Cameron and I will be there and I cannot wait.
Can’t say we haven’t all been there, kid.
I thought these photos of traffic lights – of all things – were absolutely mesmerizing. It was a great reminder for me to keep your eyes open in the world because you just never know where you’ll find a bit of beauty and wonder (via Swissmiss).
