Essential oils are not a product with a misnomer; they are absolutely essential for any heath focused household. It’s been well documented on this blog that I’ve been making a conscious and constant effort to eliminate all environmental toxins from our home and I’ve found that the best way to do that is often to make products myself! The recipes are simple, the ingredients are generally cheap, and the resulting concoctions is far more effective than anything you could buy! I use essential oils constantly in everything from shower melts, linen sprays, and aromatherapy moments to cleaning sprays, hand sanitizers, and homemade toners. They are incredibly versatile and at that beautifully rare junction where cutting edge research on non-toxic products overlaps with ancient healing practices.
