I’ve talked before (here and here) about my mission to replace our household cleaners, laundry materials, and personal care products with natural, less toxic versions. While the quest continues in other arenas, I’ve got the male personal care products fully replaced and locked down! These products all performed as well as their chemical loaded counterparts and have been purchased multiple times. When I began this quest, Cameron was forced to participate (he didn’t mind, though) and Justin also ended up being interested in replacing his personal care products with non-toxic versions. In general, their criteria was razor simple. It needed to do what it promised in a very literal sense – the shampoo should clean their hair, the soap should lather up, and the deodorant should make them not smell bad. It was also not acceptable for it to smell “funny”. This selection of products is both husband and brother tested and approved. [In regards to that smell issue, I think it’s all lovely – all of these products have a masculine scent that isn’t overbearing.]
